Welcome to the Commissioning wiki!
The Commissioning Handbook is a live, collaborative, work in progress, developed by information professionals across NHS England and led by Quality:MK - a partnership which numbers NHS Milton Keynes, health:mk and LINks:MK.
There is no need to log in to the wiki - simply browse through the list of chapter headings on the contents page, or read the Introduction. From both of these pages, you will be able to access the rest of the handbook.
A dynamic resource for a fast changing environment, and open for all to access, the Handbook was developed and launched by a innovative working group with support from the former National Library Health. It enables information professionals to pool their knowledge of resources and good practice so that we can better support NHS staff involved in commissioning health services.
We hope you find this resource helpful, and welcome your input. If you have any comments or recommendations for content please contact our Editorial Group.
Editorial Advisory Group
Editorial Advisory Group: Alison Price, Anne Gray, Daniel Williams, Des Conway, Helen Thompson, Jill Rutt, Katherine Bell, Sharon Riddle, Sue Lacey Bryant (project manager) and Anne Weist.
Led by Quality:MK, this e-handbook is produced collaboratively; a good example of sharing knowledge and spreading good practice amongst health librarians.
The working group is grateful to SHALL (SHA Library Leads) for its continuing support and to the National Library for Health for sponsoring the development of the Commissioning Handbook, enabling it to be launched so swiftly.
